 "As I was going on holiday and needed my bikes done quickly I contacted Sandy more in hope than expectation that he could turn them round so quickly. I filled in the on line enquiry form explaining the urgency. Within a few hours Sandy had contacted me and arranged to visit me the same evening to look at the bikes and assess what needed done to them. He turned up on time and quickly assessed them.

After we discussed the issues and the potential solutions he left with the bikes.  The same evening I received an e-mail with the breakdown of the costs and to confirm he could fit me in before my holidays.During the servicing/repair process Sandy kept me up to date with any other problems that he found with a quote for resolving the issue.

He arrived back with the bikes ahead of schedule and went through each repair and part replacement he had done, showing the old part that had been replaced. It is very clear he is really into his cycling and as such has knowledge of the best parts to be used and can help with bike setups and upgrades that could improve my bike. Added to this is the fact he is a very personable guy, I would have no hesitation in recommending Sandy to take care of your bike!"

Certification

Bicycle servicing and repair is no different from any other trade or technical service. Bicycle mechanics should have proper training and certification that will allow them to operate effectively and more importantly - safely.

Apart from many years of experience in bicycle repair and servicing I have also completed the Bike Inn 'Certificate of Attainment' course, which includes the new City & Guilds levels 1 & 2 accreditations with the added 'advanced' instruction listed on the 'Attainment Certificate'.
